Question 1

Which builders are in Landmark by Hillwood?

Accepted Answer

Landmark by Hillwood includes nine builders: M/I Homes, Coventry Homes, Tri Pointe Homes, David Weekley Homes, American Legend Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Toll Brothers, and Drees Custom Homes.

Question 2

What lot sizes are available in Landmark?

Accepted Answer

Landmark offers a range of lot sizes, including 40-foot rear-entry lots, 45- to 50-foot homesites, and larger 60- and 70-foot homesites. The lot size you choose can affect privacy, yard maintenance, street feel, home design, neighborhood density, and long-term resale position.

Question 3

Should I visit Landmark model homes first?

Accepted Answer

Not before doing some discovery work. Model homes are designed to create excitement, but they can also cause buyers to fall in love with a floor plan before understanding whether the section, lot, builder, price point, and lifestyle setting are the right fit. We recommend clarifying your priorities before touring models.

Question 4

Is Landmark better for first-time buyers, move-up buyers, or luxury buyers?

Accepted Answer

Landmark has options that may appeal to all three because of its range of builders, lot sizes, and home styles. Some sections may fit first-time or lower-maintenance buyers, others may fit move-up buyers wanting more space, and others may appeal to buyers looking for larger homesites, more privacy, upgraded finishes, or a more custom feel.

Question 5

What should I compare before choosing a builder in Landmark?

Accepted Answer

Before choosing a builder, compare location within the community, lot width, lot orientation, future phases, proximity to amenities, true total cost, builder incentives, upgrade structure, neighborhood feel, and how each home option fits your daily lifestyle. The best choice is not always the most impressive model home. It is the combination of community section, lot, builder, floor plan, cost, and timing that best matches how you actually want to live.
